Treatment Approaches

Therapeutic Exercises & Activities
Therapeutic exercises are movements selected for you to correct impairments, restore muscular and skeletal function and maintain well-being. Therapeutic exercises might focus on improving neuromuscular re-education, gait, posture, balance, mobility, strength, agility, or endurance.
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is a specialized physical therapy method that utilizes skilled hands-on techniques. Manual therapy is intended to improve tissue flexibility; increase range of motion of the joints; mobilize or manipulate soft tissues and joints; induce relaxation; change muscle function; modulate pain; and reduce soft tissue swelling, inflammation or movement restriction.

Dry Needling
Dry needling is the treatment of using a thin, solid needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points. Trigger points are sensitive areas in muscle and when pressure is applied to these areas, pain can refer to other areas in the body. This treatment has been found to be beneficial in a number of different conditions including myofascial pain syndrome, certain types of headaches, and for short-term relief of trigger points.
